TWM’s design replaces two important buildings for the Sisters of St. Dominic in San Rafael - the fire-damaged historic Victorian Mother House, and the earthquake-damaged Administration Building. Complementing the surrounding upscale residential neighborhood, four one- and two-story shingled buildings are set in a lushly landscaped campus setting. The buildings were planned to provide housing for 30 residents, offer 15,000 SF of office space, and include 2,300 SF of gathering space.

TWM was selected in 2021 to provide design services for accessibility renovations to meet the needs of the sisters’ future care projections, as well as an addition to more appropriately allow for staff assisted activities of daily living.
